Little Life of an Athlete

This program is a takeoff from the Life of an Athlete program developed by the American Athletic Institute specifically with student athletes in mind.  Education workshops are conducted for parents, coaches and student-athletes that contain up-to-date scientific research on the negative impact that alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana, as well as other substances and behaviors, have on athletic performance.  The program provides a compelling reason for many youths to say no to alcohol and other drugs. A Little Life of an Athlete program concentrates on coaches and parents in youth athletic programs such as Little League, AYSO and Pee Wee Football.  Coaches and parents begin early to provide positive messages around healthy performance outcomes.
